Imagine a young teenager coming to terms with their sexuality. Whereas visibility means, over time, having a movie that's clearly pro-gay just sitting there on the Walmart shelf, and not shunted off to some seedy little sex shop 'special interest' corner, so that little by little people will absorb their surroundings and realize that being gay isn't something that needs to be hidden. Sure, a few people may accidentally watch it, but how many will really have their minds changed? I expect the vast, vast majority would simply turn it off and ask to return it. The movie is literally about gay visibility.
